2.1.2 Ethereum

Ethereum is currently the most mature and widely used blockchain application platform, supporting the construction and deployment of smart contract-based dApps. According to the statistics of State of DApps, there are currently tens of thousands of applications running on Ethereum. These dApps are all composed of two parts: smart contracts stored on the Ethereum network, and Apps developed with web technology that can interact with smart contracts.

The dApp development ecosystem around Ethereum is currently the most mature, such as the development framework Truffle, the smart contract online integrated development environment Remix, and the dedicated Sta-ck'Exchange developer Q&A channel, etc. But the biggest problems with Ethereum right noware low throughput and very expensive gas.
